News From The Archive - January to June 2005
Helen & Brian's Wedding - Continuing the trend of weddings this year we travelled up to Kirkham were Angela grew up to see her little sister get married. Helen and Brian looked lovely, and I was able to get some fantastic pictures of them on the sand dunes in Lytham St Annes as the sun set in the background. Click here to see some of my pictures.
Jon & Catie's Wedding - The next wedding of the year was Jon & Catie's. It was a great celebration. Click here to see pics of the happy day.
Ray & Liz's Wedding - Back in May we went to my Uncle Ray's wedding down in London. It was a great day - fancy dress, roasted lamb on a spit - and the chance to catch up with family. Click here to see some more photos of the fun occasion.
Why No News?- You may have noticed that we haven't done much updating on our website recently. We've been on holiday, and had loads of weddings to go to over the summer so have lots of pictures to upload - but I've just been too busy to get round to updating this site. We are also in the process of selling our house, and moving closer to my job in Essex. Until we have moved and settled into our new home, the best place to keep in touch with what we are up to is on my blogg. Please click here to be taken there.

Where is Al?- I found something quite groovy today - its a utility for my phone that updates a database online, which inturn generates a picture file to inform people where I am! It works by knowing which mobile phone antenna I am currently connected to and updates the database regularly.
I have inserted the picture at the top of my blogg in the heading so now you know exactly where I am (as long as I have the program running on my phone). I've also put it directly above so that you can see what I'm talking about if I ever decide to remove it!
Using my mobile at home I never really get any decent reception, and it looks like my phone is either locking onto the Ely or Stretham mast - we are half way in between!! So if you see that I'm constantly moving between Ely and Stretham, that is why! [21-05-2005]

Catie's Hen Weekend - A few weeks ago Ang went on a Hen weekend for Catie who gets married in June. She had a great weekend of fun and even managed to fit in a day at a Spa in Bristol! Click here to see pictures of the weekend. [21-05-2005]
Lambing at Wimpole Hall - This weekend we went to Wimpole Hall with some friends from church to see some Lambing! Ang had been looking forward to the this event all year, and thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon. Click here to see pictures of the day's events. [12-04-2005]
Easter "Tidy the Garden" Project - Over the long Easter bank holiday weekend, Ang and I decided to tackle the jungle which was our garden. Click here to see the Before & After pictures.
Home Group Party - Last Tuesday our Home Group had a mini party to celebrate Lorraine's 25th birthday. It was also an opportunity to say farewell to Etty who is moving up to Bradford for a new job. Click here for some photos.
Walk Around Lyme Park - In early March, Ang & I travelled up to the north to spend some time with our parents. While in Manchester we visited Lyme Park which is a National Trust property that is on the edge of the Peak District, and overlooks the city. For more pics, click here.
River Walk with Helen & Brian - During February, Angela's younger sister Helen, and her fiance Briana came down to visit us in Ely. On the first evening we went for a walk through Little Thetford (the village where we live), and then along the river which gave us great views of Ely Cathedral. Jon & Rachel's Wedding - Only a week after his stagg night, Jon was ready to get married to the lovely Rachel. The wedding took place in a lovely function room looking over the coast of Folkestone. Click here for pictures of the day & and the lovely couple.
Big Jon's Big Stag Night - At the end of January, I went down to London to join in the celebrations of Big Jon's stag night. Jon was the best man at my wedding, so it was good to see him going getting married too! We had a great time, and even manged to cover him in curry. Click here for pics.
Wintery Wicken Fen - During our Christmas break, Ang and I decided to go for a walk in our local National Trust property, Wicken Fen. We took pictures of the kind of scenery that we live near, and we also spotted a small dear on our walk! Click here for the pics.
Sunrises in Little Thetford - We have been very lucky recently, waking up and seeing gorgeous sunsets outside our bedroom window. Although I haven't had the time to photo all of them, I did manage to capture a couple of special sunrises. Click here to see some Little Thetford Sunrises! [20-01-2005]
