Happy Birthday to Me!! - Last weekend I turned the grand old age of 26!! I had a great party on the Saturday night with a load of friends from church. Ang was a super cook and made 3 amazing different types of cake (one shown below).

As it was close to bon fire night, we played with some sparklers!

Autumn Lake District -During the 1st week in November, we took a week off work and spent a few days in the Lake District with Al's Parents. Although the sun never came out, we still had a great time. To have a look at some of the pictures Al took, click here.

Seal Spotting -On a sunny Saturday in September, Ang & I decided to go north along the A10 to the Norfolk coast in search of seals! We'd booked a trip on a boat for the mid-afternoon, so slowly made our way along the coast. It was a really fantastic day, and was topped off by an amazing sunset. If you would like to see some photos of this day trip, then click here.
Sunsets in Little Thetford -The great thing about living in the fens is the vast expanse of sky in every direction. This can lead to some great sun sets, some of which i've captured here.

Wicken Fen Walk -After Graeme & Helen's wedding we decided to go on a walk with Paul & Sally to our local National Trust nature reserve - Wicken Fen. Only a 10 minute drive from Little Thetford, its a perfect place to relax in the sunshine surrounded by flora & fauna. As always, I took my camera along to see if I could pick up any decent piccies!! Click here to see them.

Graeme & Helen's Wedding - At the begining of September I played bass at the wedding of Graeme & Helen. It was a great wedding celebration, and obviosly a very happy day for the couple! I didn't get too many pictures of Gaeme or Helen, but there are some snaps here of the wedding guests.

August Bank Holiday - During the August Bank holiday weekend, we travelled up to a wedding in York, and then across to Manchester to visit Alistair's parents. Here are the pictures from the weekend.

BBQ - For the second time in the space of a few weeks, Ang & I decided to have a BBQ for just the two of us. On the menu today was special corn on the cob cooked to Al's special recipe, spicy pork, venison burgers, and veggie kebabs!! Yummy!

Matt Reed turns 18 - On the Saturday that Claire was visiting (see below) I went paint balling with some of the guys from church - to celebrate Matt's 18th birthday. It was a great day, and I managed not to get too brusied (although Ang still thought I was wounded too much!)

Claire's Visit - Last weekend Angela's older sister, Claire came to visit. Ang did a great job of playing host and cooked some great food, as well as organising a day trip to Ickworth House near Bury St. Edmunds. Click here for some photos of the weekend and some of the wildlife we saw on the sunday.

Tim & Debora's Wedding - On the 7th of August, our good friends Tim & Debora got married at our church in Cambridge. Although I struggled to get pics of them together, I did take some photos of the wedding party and other friends.

Garden Pics - This year we have been really lucky with the amazing garden we've inherited when buying our house. Unfortunately I was a little slow in taking photos of the amazing roses during the spring and early summer, but since I've had new camera I've been out in the garden and taken some pics of some of the late flowering plants. To see some more click here.

Wimpole Hall - Just recently I bought a fantastic new camera, and was dying to test it out on sunny Friday evening. So Ang and I packed up a picnic and drove off to a local national trust property. The evening sunlight was great for pics, and I was lucky enough to get some great photos.

Summer Holiday - Singapore & Australia - On the 24th of June we flew off to Singapore to start a our summer holiday travelling around the city of Singapore, then Sydney and finally a road trip around north west Queensland (NE Australia). It will take me some time to sort through the 1000+ photos that I took, but until then, I have put a few of them on my web log during July & August.

Over the coming months I'll be adding a Summer 2004 holiday section to this website with a day by day guide to our fantastic holiday!! So watch this space!
