2003 - During
the Easter weekend we got up to lots. We went for a long bike

to organise the Young Statisticians Meeting in Cambridge to which
130 people attended from across the world. Great fun, but hard

Manchester
Weekend - 4th
- 6th of April. After a hectic week of umming and arring over
whether to buy a house we decided to take a short break from Cambridge
and visit Alistair's parents in Manchester. We had a lovely weekend
with great weather and met up with friends from Al's church and

New
House? - Some
of you may have heard that we were thinking of buying a house
(in fact, we even put an offer in!) - well, after thinking long
and hard about it, we've decided not to buy. Although the
house was lovely (it even had a pond) - it was too far away from
Ely and Cambridge and would have meant a lifestyle change - something
that we're not ready for (yet). Al,

Walk
Along the River Cam - Last Sunday, because it was a sunny
day, we decided to go for a walk along the River Cam just
north of Cambridge. The weather was lovely and we had a great

Tarek & Julie - This
weekend Ang spent time catching up with old friends from her time
at Uni. Chris, Tarek, Julie & baby came to visit us in Cambridge.

Weekend
in Oxford - Last
week we spent a long weekend visiting friends in Oxford. We met
up with Gordy (pictured below left) and caught up with her latest
news and views in the pub. We also spent some time shopping -
though it rained so so so hard and we got absolutely soaked. Friday
night we went for a curry with Rob (below right) and ex-Ripcord
Mark. Man, what a curry! It was a great weekend and it was cool
to see so many old friends!

Castles
& Trees of Norfolk - Fudgie
title I know. Anyway, yesterday we did a little tour of Norfolk
and stopped off at as many tourist places as possible! Lots of
trees, churches, castles, priorys and wind turbines! Have a look

turns 26 - Happy
Birthday to Ang, who on Friday the 31st of Jan turned the ripe
old age of 26! We had Big Jon to visit, and also had a little

SNOW!
- Well,
it really did snow in Cambridge on Thursday the 30th of Jan. So
much so that it took me nearly three hours to get home, and left
hundreds of people stranded in their cars overnight. Friday morning
was beautiful, so we decided to get up before all the footprints
ruined the scenery and take some photos. Click here

Sunrise
11-01-2003 - Again,
waking up early on Saturday we decided to go for a walk. But this
time we made it before the sun had even risen properly!!! I know,
we're mad aren't we? Anyway, we drove to the Magog hills where
we've been before to watch the sunset. Click here

04-01-2003 - This
morning we woke, and for the first time in ages it was SUNNY!!
Well, we couldn't let it go by without going for a walk, so we
jumped into our jeans & coats and charged out the door. We
just walked around our local area, but it was really lovely (and
