Christmas
Holidays 2002
We
spent Christmas 2002 in Manchester & Kirkham at both sets of
parents, and New Year up in Lancaster with friends from University.
Christmas
Day

& Below: After going to church in
the morning, we all rushed home to open the Christmas presents!

Christmas lunch was fantastic, with Turkey,
cooked ham, vegetarian bake plus all the trimmings.

During the afternoon we watched Lord of
the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring using a video projector! In
the evening, Philip's girlfriend Cara visted and then we went to
a friends house for more food and chat.
Boxing
Day & December 27/28th
On
Boxing day we travelled up to Kirkham near Preston where Angela's
parents live.

During the afternoon, Angela's brother
and wife visited with little baby Jacob.

During the day on the 27th, we went shopping
in Preston with both Angela's sisters. In the evenings we all watched
TV or played games! Below is Angela's dad trying to mime something
in a game.
On
the Saturday we returned to Al's parents house in Manchester stopping
off on the way in Bolton to do a bit more shopping and we watched
Lord of the Rings - The Two Towers, which was excellent!
December
29th
On
Sunday we visited old friends Andy & Kate in the NEW HOUSE!!
And then Al played his bass at the evening service at the church
in Didsbury - again with old friends.

30th
On
Monday we had a lazy day in Manchester, went for a short walk with
Al's parents, then visited some more old friends Pete & Kate.

to live in a cave!

Monday evening we spent with friends Pete
& Kate in there lovely new house. Pete cooked a grand caserole,
and then we sat round eating jelly belly's & chatted the night
away.
December
31st - New Year's Eve
On
New Years Eve we travelled up to Lancaster and had a pub lunch in
Halton with Sarah, one of Angela's bridesmaids. We then did a bit
of shopping in Lancaster with Emily Kiff and Big Dave before we
ended up at the venue for our New
Years Eve Party.

January
1st 2003 - New Year's Day!!

Travelling back to Manchester we dropped off Deron in Bolton.
