Laura's Birthday
After church on the 9th of May a group of us went down to the river in Cambridge to go punting and celebrate Laura's birthday. Unfortunately, because of the bad weather the punts weren't open - so we decided to have a picnic instead!! Laura's housemates headed off to Sainsburys and bought all our picnic food, while hunded down a suitable piece of grass next to the river.

Above & Below: although it was drizzling - we still managed to have a decent picnic.

Above: "ICK!!! whats this?"

Below: Susie & Etty weren't so sure.

Two of Laura's housemates had just bought some retro walkie-talkies from a charity shop and some of the group took turns to go on a mission. Susie's mission (above) was to talk to a fit bloke, and Laura's mission (below) was to ask an academic person an academic question!

Above & Below: At first Laura wasn't convinced - but she was soon on her way.

Below: It was then Chris' turn to go on a mission - this time to find a carrot. His call sign was Red Rabbit and he was soon on his way. As soon as he left and was out of sight, the whole group upped camp and hid behind some trees. It was some time before Chris found us - but it was a good laugh!

Above: needless to say, Red Rabbit found his carrot!
