Youth
Cafe - January to May 2003
Since
Christmas, Ang and I have been involved with a youth cafe at St.
Barnabas in Cambridge. The cafe is held on the last Friday of each
month and has a different theme each time. Last Friday (23rd of
May) the theme was "TEXMEX" and Ang was asked to make
a pinata donkey!! I was involved with setting up the PA, lights,
karaoke and all the technical side of things.
Above:
Ang started her Pinata nearly a week before
the cafe and made it using a balloon, news paper and a mixture of
glue and water. Every day she added more paper and finally gave
it a lick of paint!!

donkey before it gets smashed to pieces!

Above
& Below: After a few violent hits
with a card board stick, the donkey's head & eyes fell off!!
Another few more wacks and the legs fell off with the sweets &
chocolates going everywhere!

spent chilling and chatting.
