End of May Bank Holiday

At the end of May'03 it was a bank holiday weekend, so we too the opportunity to head up north and see friends and family from home. We left on Saturday morning and headed to Kirkham, near Preston to Ang's family home.

Below: In the evening we stayed at Angela's parents. Both her sisters were also there and we played a bit of magentic football as well as watching the Eurovision song contest!! Nil points - hooray!

Above: on the Sunday we travelled up to Lancaster and went to church in St. Thomas' - we met up with loads of friends during the service, but also went out for a pub meal for lunch.

Below: After the pub lunch we went to see Sarah's new flat in Lancaster. It was lovely!

Above: Sunday evening we travelled to Manchester to go to my old church in Didsbury. We stayed the night at my parents and had breakfast in the garden!

Above & Below: Monday morning we went for a walk with my parents in our local park. My mum even had a go at throwing the boomerang that Angela got from sister Helen - straight from Australia!

Below: on the way back from Manchester we stopped off to see James & Elli who live on a farm!! They are just about to move to Licolnshire to start teaching at the same school --- in the same department!!!
