Weekend Away 2003
Last
weekend we went on the annual 2BD weekend away to Letton Hall in
Norfolk. 2BD is the 20s-30s-ish group from our church in Cambridge
and every year about 100 people make the trip out to Letton Hall
for a time to get away from the business of life and relax together.

& Below: on the Saturday morning before
breakfast Ang & I went for a walk around the grounds. Ang even
had a go on the adventure trail, though gave up when the it got
to tough!

during the weekend their were a number
of sessions in which there was time for worship songs and talks.
I was involved with the worship group playing the bass and providing
part of the PA.

in one of the sessions we were encouraged
to write stuff on a piece of paper that we knew we were doing wrong
in our life and lay it at the cross. It was symbolic of being forgiven
and being cleansed by what Jesus did on the cross.

Saturday afternoon we organised a game
of rounders & (my favourite) played a game of ultimate frisbee.
It was absolutely exhausting!!
