Quench
Gig - Cheltenham 6th of June 2003
Last
Friday I engineered for the band "Quench"
in Cheltenham. Ang & I took the afternoon off and made the 3
hour trip cross country to Cheltenham where Quench were playing.
The PA had already been set up, so all I needed to do was patch
in my outboard FX rack and start the sound check.

Above
& Below: The whole gig was full of
energy as Quench members bounced around the stage. I was a little
dissapointed that I didn't see the "BUSTED" jump - but
I suppose we can forgive them for that!

Above
& Below: Mark (the guitarist) is my
friend from when I was with Ripcord.
It was great to see him ROCK again! Mark has known Jamie (lead singer)
for years.

Above:
The gig took place in a huge church -
it wasn't great acoustically (not for their style of playing anyway)
- but certainly looked impressive espcially with the lights.
Below:
Ron on bass.

Below:
Andy on drums.

Above
& Below: Me on on the PA - flashy
lights & buttons!!! YAY!

Below:
I was so quick - you could hardly see
me!
