2002 - San Francisco - The Sights
San
Francisco: 1 - 2 - 3
- 4 - 5 - 6
There
really is SO much to see in San Francisco! On another one of Angela's
days off we went to a Baseball game, went to a Sea Life centre and
visited some Japanese Gardens.

ABOVE
& BELOW: These
were some of the views from the baseball stadium of the San Francisco
Giants - the Pacific Bell Park. Although we were quite some distance
from all the action on the field, the actual view across the San
Francisco Bay more than made up for it.

BELOW:
A man throwing a leather ball at a man
with a bat. It really did seem like people went to the baseball
game to eat food, chat and look at the view - nobody seemed to care
about what was going on on the field! By the end of the game we
still hadn't figured out who was who, or even who had won!!

ABOVE
& BELOW: During
our time in San Francisco we also managed to visit the Japanese
Tea Gardens in the Golden Gate Park - the largest urban park in
the world!

ABOVE
& BELOW: We
also managed to get to Pier 39 and Fisherman's Wharf which was very
touristy, but definately worth a visit. We went to an aquariam where
we travelled through a underwater glass tunnel on a conveyor belt
- and saw loads of sharks (above) and smaller fish. There
were lots of souvenier shops at Pier 39, but the highlight were
all the lazy sea lions (below).

BELOW:
While in San Francisco we also did an awful
lot of shopping! There were so many huge shops with floors and floors
of clothes - this kept Ang very happy. I enjoyed China Town (below)
the best because it was full of camera/gadget shops.
