Feeling energetic and having found a map of the local area we decided to go on the Manly Scenic walk which would take us on a round trip around the coast with a bus ride back to the ferry.
The walk took us through some lovely little coves with amazing looking houses on the steep hillsides above. There wasn't a cloud in the sky!
After walking along the beach for a couple of miles we started to climb up onto the headland where we started to walk through some of the protected scrubland.
From the top of the headland the views across to Sydney were amazing. Australians are very luck to live in a city like this.
We then headed back down to the sea, again through some protected forests.
Walking along the coast again the blue sea, white sand and scenery was stunning.
At the end of the walk we caught a bus back to Manly to catch the ferry back to Sydney. We were lucky enough to catch the sunset as we headed back to the city and took some pretty good photos which can be found here.
