Botanic Gardens
Our last stop of our weekend visit to Singapore was the Botanic Gardens, just opposite from the place we were staying. It was a very hot and sunny day, so we struggled to keep going through the gardens... however, what we did see was breathtaking.

Ang took some time out to sit on a huge rock with a giant marble spinning round on top of the water. Needless to say, just a few moments after this photo was taken, Ang and I had a water fight!!
The most famous part of the gardens is the orchid garden. There were so many different colours and types. The place was huge, and the variety endless.

There were so many places to take photos from, I was constantly snapping away!

Orchids everywhere!!
On the way back to where we were staying, we through some of the old jungle that used to cover the island of Singapore. The trees and greenery were amazing, including this giant tree above.
