Singapore Boat Trip

While looking around the Esplanade and the city of Sinagapore (click here for pictures), we took a short boat trip across the harbour to take in some of the sights.

The boat took us in front of the financial district of Singapore, where there were massive sky scrapers towering over us.

We caught a glimpse of a chinese Junk boat above, and the impressive design of the Esplanade.

We travelled in a basic little boat, but it gave us great views of the city.

We spent a lot of time circling around the famous merlion of Singapore...

... before heading up the river and past the historical centre.

The multi-coloured buildings along the river front were dwarfed by the sky scrapers. Ang and I spent some time exploring the historic area before heading back to the Esplanade.
