Manchester
Visit (4-6 April 2003)
The
first weekend in April we visited Al's parents in Manchester. On
the Saturday we went for a walk around Marple where Al's grandmother
lives.
It
was a beautiful day and Al actually got sunburnt!! We walked from
All Saints Church in Marple, across the Goyt valley, and back again.
Al's mum was the guide for the day.
Part
of the walk took us along a canal.
And
we stopped off at the Fox Inn for a drink and toilet break!
Above
is Al's old primary school that he attended for two years!
The
end of the walk took us back up to All Saints Church. Al's Grandma's
flat is located in the white building to the right of this picture.
