Easter 2003

During the Easter weekend we decided to stay in Cambridge and enjoy the delights of the Fens! We had a bike ride, BBQ and went bird watching - oh, and we went shopping!

Above: A few week earlier we'd bought mountain bikes so we just had to try them out through the "hilly" fens. Angela was navigating and guided us to a brilliant pub lunch!

Above & Below: After the bike ride we invited frieds Dave & Lois round for a BBQ. Dave had marinated some chicken in lovely peri-peri sauce from Nando, and we also cooked sausages & burgers. During the food we brought out our 2-4-1 Babycham and attempted to open them without killing the neighbours.

Below: After the BBQ we sat down and attempted to play Mahjong!

Above: On the Saturday we drove out to Manea right in the middle of the Fens to view some ducks with Dave & Lois. When we arrived we thought we were in the wrong place because the car park was desserted!
