Norfolk Coast Seal Trip - Seals & Sea

Above: Pulling up round the sand spit we caught our first glimpse of the seals - there were so many!!
Above & Below: Because the tide was coming in, the sand spit that they'd be resting on during the day was going under water, so they were all swimming towards the sand spit that we were waiting at!

Above: The boat never got too close to the beach, but I was able to use the zoom and image stabiliser on my camera to get some close up shots... especially of the baby seal two pictures below.
Above: There were plenty of seals in the water swiming around the boats!
Below: The seals seemed to be having fun looking at us as much as we were looking back at them!

Above: A close up shot of a baby seal.
Below: More seals!

Above & Below: Leaving the seals behind, we headed towards a drop off point that would allow Ang and I time on the sand spit to explore, and go for a short 1 hour walk.

Above & Below: We quickly jumped off the boat and headed along the paths. We were aiming to walk to the other side of the sand spit and back again before we were picked up in an hours time.

Below: This picture was taken from the top of the sand dunes looking back across the channnel and towards the main land. You can see all the boats in the channel, and a church in the distance.
Below: My darling Ang!

Above: The sun's rays shining through the clouds!
Below: I'd taken my tripod so we were able to get this shot below of us standing together. This tood a while to do as the wind was so strong and was in danger of blowing the tripod over!!
