New Wine 2003

At the begining of August we joined thousands of others on a show ground near Glastonbury for a Christian festival called New Wine. It was a great time to see old friends, enjoy the music & entertainment and even meet with God! The sun shone all week - it was SO hot!!

Above: On the way down we passed Stone Henge.

Above & Below : We camped at the Royal Bath & West Showground with about 10,000 other people. In the Big Top we had the main meetings and worshiped God with thousansd of others!

Above: We camped right next to the big top (you can see the edge of it on the right hand side of the picture above). During the morning, instead of getting up early to go the the meeting, we listened to the music from the tent, and then listened to the radio for the talk. YES! The talk was transmitted on the radio every morning!

Bath

While we were at New Wine, we were having a heat wave with temperatures reaching into the mid-30s. To get away from the heat we drove to Bath one day to make use of our air-conditioned car!

Glastonbury & Cheddar

On the Wednesday we took some of the youth from our church on a day out. We climbed up the Glastonbury Torr, and visted the amazing Cheddar Gorge.
