Mum, Dad & Grandma's Visit

At the begining of September my parents and Grandmother came to visit us in Cambridgeshire. We spend the day travelling around the area that Ang and I hope to move to - Linton and Saffron Waldon. After a lunch at a pub in Linton, we went to the world famous Orchard Tea Garden in Grantchester meadows.

Above: we sat in the sunshine drinking our apple juice and tea!

Below: ...before walking towards the river to watch the punting.

Above: sitting on the river bank my mum said to us, "Wouldn't it be nice to see a kingfisher now?..."

Below: ...so we watched...

Above: until we saw one fly right in front of us and perch on a branch.

Below: it then proceeded to fish!! In and out of the water right in front of us!

Above & Below: it was totally amazing watching it fish.
