Weekend Break in Norfolk
As we've not really had a big holiday this year - we've taken lots of little mini-breaks including a long weekend on the north Norfolk coast near Cromer. We rented an old bakehouse/cottage which was lovely!! It was just the right size and was so cozy with an open fire place. I have split the pictures from the weekend into two sections:
Saturday - Sunday/Monday
Saturday

Above: Ang and I woke up early on Saturday morning really excited to have time off. The sun was just about to rise, so we jumped into our clothes and ran to the beach with a camera. Above is a pic of a fishing thing...
Below: we were privaleged enough to see the sunrise over the sea. It was very beautiful.
Above: after a wonderful cooked breakfast by Angela we headed off to Sheringham park - a National Trust property. The sun was shining and it was very warm in the sunshine.

Above: tired of having her photo taken, Ang decided to turn the camera on me! Very unusual.
Below: the walk was a mixture of forest and open hills.

Above & Below: not wasting the opportunity - I decided to do some more macro photography. I love the light on the holly in the above picture.

Above & Below: the scenery was absolutely stunning - with refletive ponds, and views out towards the sea.

Above: we climed a huge viewing platform that gave us views over the canopy of the forest - it was pretty amazing!
Below: Sheringham house - still a private property complete with guard dog.

Above: I just couldn't resist a close up of this little wonder!
Below: after the walk Ang and I treated ourselves to a fantastic meal at this lovely hotel. We were treated like royalty and the food was very tasty.

Above: we finished the day off with another National Trust property and a gorgeous sunset.
NEXT DAY - Sunday & Monday
