Easter "Tidy the Garden" Project

Over the Easter bank holiday weekend - Ang and I set ourselves the task of tidying the jungle in the back garden. Since the summer we'd not touched it, and it was starting to look overgrown. We wanted to make sure it was nice and tidy, ready for all the new growth as Spring kicks in.

Easter Eggs

During the weekend we also put up a bird nesting box at the bottom of the garden. But I've got a feeling that it may be too late as a lot of our local birds have already started making nests in the trees....

... and our sat dish!! (see below). On Easter morning we woke up to find a pair of collared doves had laid their eggs in a nest that they'd created that morning!! How very quick of them!! Have a look at Al's Blogg in April to keep an eye on their progress as hopefully they start to hatch.

The End

One tidy and finished garden!! Hopefully we won't have to do much weeding this year, as we've covered the ground in layers of woodchips!!
