River Walk with Helen & Brian

In the middle of February, Angela's younger sister Helen, and her fiance Brian came down to visit us in Ely. On the first evening we walked through Little Thetford to the river and then to the pub about a mile along it.

Above: To get to the river we had to cross the Ely to Cambridge railway.

Above & Below: Although it was cloudy, and looked like it might rain - the sun shone underneath and gave a nice glow to the evening.

Above: After walking to the pub - we decided that it was better to walk home before the sun set so that we wouldn't get too cold!! Just to prove how dark and cold it was getting - I turned around and took a picture of the sun setting..

Above & Below: Back in Little Thetford we caught the sun setting through the trees and clouds. What a way to finish a lovely walk!
