I've Lost My Shoe!

This week's commercial plug goes to a band called Bad Lizard... Tim, the drummer used to play in Ripcord, the band that I was the techy for and toured all over eastern Europe. Garden Flowers

Here is one of the many flowers in our garden. We've got lots of roses - thousands of them!!! - but sometimes its the little ones, hidden away, that look the best!

Bumble Bee in our Garden

We have had lots of bumble bees in our garden again this year... here is one of them enjoying some mini-purple flowers (Ang will probably tell me off for not knowing what their real name is!!).

Fiery Japanese

This weekend we travelled up north to go to a family christening, but also to go to Big Dave's Big Stag Doo!! We went to a Japanese place where they cooked all the food in front of you on a hot plate. The chefs made it really interesting and put on a real performance - juggling wih eggs, rice and knives!! They even got us to participate - although some people ended up with egg shampoo! I managed to catch some fried egg in my mouth as it was flicked across the table! It was a really fun evening - the food was great, and it was good to catch up with old friends.

Kites

Last month Ang and I went exploring in north Essex, looking for a new place to live - nearer Finchingfield where I work. We stopped off at a kite festival which was fantastic! It was like watching the Red Arrows!! They were flying in synchronised formations to music - one guys even flew 3 stunt kites which would normally require 3 hands! We both agreed that it would be great for a wedding. This photo was taken with my rubbish camera on my phone.

Choco Picnic in the Sunset

Last Thursday, Ang and I went to Wimpole Hall park for a picnic. It was great, we watched the sunset and ate yummy food... including the above dark chocolate all the way from Switzerland!

Birthday Girl's Big Bed!!

Ang got her Birthday/Christmas/Birthday/Christmas present last month. She has been wanting this bed for ages - and its great! Only just fits in the room though!!
