Well done Wyvern DM!

Just read in the on-line press that my former company Wyvern Crest (before it was broken up and I parted ways) has new management. Ian, Hayley, and my ex-boss Jonathan Carter have completed a management buyout from Highbury House. The new company is now called Wyvern DM and will be concentrating on direct marketing and data care. I still have lots of friends who work at Wyvern - so hopefully they will do well!

All the best to you Wyvern DM!

Donna the Lamb

Last weekend we went to Wimpole Hall to see some baby lambs. We were lucky enough to see one being born, right in front of us! Click here for some more pics from the Al & Ang website. Posted by Hello

A Bunch of Hot Air

This evening we went for a walk along the river and saw a hot air balloon in the glorious sunshine. It must have been a fantastic view from up in the basket because there wasn't a cloud in the sky and the sun was setting. If only Ang and I were up there too! Posted by Hello

Al's Got A Brand New (old) Car

Al's Got a Brand New (old) Car.... this weekend i bought a lovely little Citroen ZX DIESEL!! Woo hoo! As my journey to work lasts on average 1 hour 4 minutes and 22 seconds I thought it would be best to buy a little car that will eat up the miles with minimum cost. We bought the blue little "hippy" car from some of my parent's friends in Manchester - and think its quite a good deal. Accelerating from 0 to 60 its just under 20 seconds, its not quite as nippy as our Vectra - but it does eat up the miles on the motorway in a straight line and as long as there isn't an incline. It has been good to drive a little car like this - it feels like it should have been our first car, but we've bought it second!! Hopefully it will last a while, and eat up the miles without complaint! Posted by Hello

Tesco with out the T

Tomorrow I start my new job as a Circulation Account Manager at a company called ESco Business Services. I am really looking forward to the new challenges and can't wait to start (although, I'm still a bit nervous!). The job seems perfect to me, except that it is about an hours drive away! I am sure I will be fine - just hope the car can keep up!! Watch this space...
