Jon's Stag Night Party

This weekend I went down to London to Jon Robinson's stag party. Nothing had really been orgainsed, and it was all last minute, but we still managed to have a great time. First of all we met up in his cold flat, where we drank Guinness and had lots of awkward silences (lots of people who didn't know each other!). But then we headed into Angel, to a noodle bar called Wagamama - fantastic food! We then pub crawled back towards Jon's flat and made sure that we embarassed him thoroughly on the way.... this included cling filming him to a lamp post and covering him with his favourite food... plenty of curry!! It was a fantastic time, and great to catch up with old friends from uni. Bring on the wedding!!

Bye Bye Buzz

Poor little Buzz!! After nearly two and half years of being a wonderful pet, Buzz my little Russian Dwarf hamster died in her sleep lastnight. I have lots of wonderful memories of Buzz, but what stands out for me is the fact that she was a fitness freak! Every night, little Buzz would jump on her wheel and run for England! Now I'm going to have to try and get to sleep without the racket of her wheel! Good luck Buzz... where ever you are!! Posted by Hello

All these photos were taken by hanging out our bedroom window!

MMMmmm Guinness!!

Guinness is one of my favourite drinks, a preference shared by this little chappie below!

Lucky Lawler!

Poor old Patrick Lawler! For the past week he has had a bit of a head & tooth ache... after trying to numb the pain with ice cream (and why not?) he decided that he'd had enough, and went to the dentist to be examined. The dentist was a bit shocked, but not as much as Patrick who was told that he had a nail lodged in his brain. OWWWW!

A few days earlier, he'd had a minor accident with a nail gun, where he hit his lips with it... little did he reaslise that he'd actually shot himself in the head! The nail had gone through his lips and lodged itself just millimetres away from his right eye. Doctors commented that if you were going to get a nail stuck in your head, this would be the place to have it with the least damage! Lucky Lawler!

Thankfully, Patrick is now recovering in hospital after the operation to remove the nail. More details can be found here...

And you think your job is bad?!

Looking at these pics below, it makes me really glad that I'm in my current job!

I'm not a big fan of heights, so this just looks too scary for me!!

Don't like being squished either!

Or shot at .

All I can say is, hooray for HDF!

Speedy Beetle

If Ang could choose any car, it would be a VW beetle! And now they've just brought out a sporty one that looks quite nice. Maybe this is the compromise that we've been looking for!! But not sure if I would be able to sit in it, with what looks like such a low roof!

Wallpaper Wonders

Yesterday I downloaded loads of desktop wallpapers for my new laptop which should be arriving soon!! Most of them are high-res wide screen pics and look fantastic. There is one below to tickle your taste buds.

Happy New Year 2005

Yesterday was the first day of 2005 and we went for a walk with some friends from church at Anglesey Abbey near Cambridge. In the afternoon we had an xbox session and played Monopoly! How fun hey!? Posted by Hello
