Glitter Ball
This weekend Ang and I were involved with the Glitter Ball - an event for the youth of Cambridge to come and celebrate Christmas in a safe environment. It took place in the buildings of St Andrews Street Baptist church which gave us 3 floors of space to play with. The middle floor was where all the action took place with a disco and bouncy castle for everyone to enjoy. The picture below shows some of the great lights that were used in the event.

Ang and I helped with the entertainment on the ground floor. There was a cafe complete with live magic and karaoke... but we were involved with taking photos in the lift (below) which we'd decorated with gold glittery hanging things! Basically, I took the photos of all the young people and passed the memory card to Ang who printed them off straight away. We ended printing over 125 photos!!
We were asked to help with the event by Tim Yau the youth worker at our church, St Barnabas. The evening was themed 70s and Tim and his wife Debs really dressed up for the evening. Tim was in charge of the top floor which was set up as the chill out room.
Ang and I thoroughly enjoyed the evening and we hope that we helped some of the 100 young people to enjoy themselves too!
