The Sun has been Hole Punched!!

Today Venus is passing between the Earth and the Sun for the first time since 1882. The picture below shows Venus as a black dot - to me it looks like it has been hole punched! Maybe the sun is gong to wear an ear ring? For more details and pics on this historical event click here.
